Our classes
Strength training
Who said that you need heavy weights in the gym to build muscles? That myth has been busted long ago. In these classes, there is maximum focus on building strength and muscle.
Body weight training
In general, we don’t use any equipment in body weight sessions, the resistance comes from our own body. It is simple and very fun. Sometimes we use a resistance ban, minibands or slide pads that can easily be replaced with cloths or socks. It is always wise to have a mat on the floor.
It can be quite a hard session, but it tends to suit most people!
We have many different types of body weight training, such as circuits, bodyflow, SomaMove and mobility-classes.
Cardio
Improve your endurance by joining our cardio classes! Get your heart pumping during classes such as Hiit, rowing and running. By doing regular cardio training, you improve your general health significantly.
Yoga & Mindfulness
Yoga is about concentration and focus, about taking control of your own mental and physical life. Yoga is a fantastic form of exercise as long as it is performed correctly. Done properly, it is an incredible form of strength and mobility training and yoga is used to prevent injuries in many different sports.
In our mindfulness classes, we will use meditation and mindfulness to increase our focus, concentration and our feeling of presence. This will get you more positivity and experiences for both yourself and your life in general.
Kettlebells
Training with kettlebells is a fantastic form of exercise for gaining strength and building muscles. In comparison to usual weight training, you work with lighter weights but in a more dynamic way. Because of this, the risk of injury is less. Kettlebells are used widely in martial arts (MMA, wrestling, boxing etc) and in Crossfit to build versatile and explosive strength.
We offer Kettlebell Basic and Kettlebell Advanced. You find this under "Strength training" in our schedule.
HIIT/Tabata
Join us for this effective form of exercise. HIIT and Tabata training are very similar and they are built on the same basic concept – short intervals with maximal effort followed by short breaks. The exercises are short, intensive and very effective for oxygen uptake. In general, Tabata intervals are 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off. HIIT often has longer intervals.
You will find these classes under "cardio" in our schedule.
Pilates
Pilates is perfect exercise for strength, mobility and body control. While you train strength and flexibility, you will also focus on breathing, core and body control in each movement. Pilates' main goal is to contribute to a body in balance that moves without difficulty.
Pregnancy and post-partum training
During and after pregnancy it is important to exercise, both for the health of the mother and the child. At the same time, one needs to be careful and listen to one’s body. In these classes we train together within the limits set by our bodies.
Suited for those who are pregnant or have recently given birth. Babies are very welcome!
Senior Fitness
One of the most important prerequisites for good aging is to be in good health and have a well-functioning body. Achieving this is easier with versatile and regular exercise. Many people keep in shape by going for walks in nature, but research has shown that it is especially weight training that assists aging well.
In Naardic’s classes called "Sprek Voksen", we focus on both strength training that makes your every-day easier, and general training for the heart and lungs. Best suited for those likes low intensity training and/or those havent been quite inactive lately. However, feel free to set your own, higher pace and add weights for a more intense session💪🏻
